Linc (Learning & Information Network at Chairo) is Chairo’s virtual learning environment for staff members, students, parents and guardians. It’s an all-in-one learning management and communication system between home and school. Share, teach, learn and stay connected online with Linc.
For more information, please see the Parent Quick Start Guide.
You can access Linc via linc.chairo.vic.edu.au.
Note: if you are a Chairo staff member, please contact ICT Support via support@chairo.vic.edu.au.
Parents can reset their password by visiting passwordreset.microsoftonline.com. However, you need to know your username (8-digit code username received via email) to be able to reset your password.
Once you have opened the password reset link, you will be taken through a three-step process to change your password.
Step 1: You will first need to verify who you are by entering your 8-digit username into the User ID field and add: ‘@chairo.vic.edu.au’. Example: SLXXXUGS@chairo.vic.edu.au.
You will also need to enter the captcha (verification) characters before clicking on the ‘Next’ button.
Step 2: Select a method (either email, text or phone call) to send your verification code to. After receiving the verification code, you need to enter it in the box provided on the screen. Note: the phone call verification happens automatically (you won’t receive a verification code for this method).
Step 3: Once verification is successful, you will be able to create your new password. Note: you need to follow the following password rules when creating your new password:
See the Parent Quick Start Guide on this page for more details about the steps involved in creating a password.
If you did not receive an email with your Chairo account username, or have lost it somehow, just contact ICT Support by sending an email (from the email address that you have registered with the school) to support@chairo.vic.edu.au. ICT will verify your account and send you your username. You can then come back to this page to reset your password.
